Ministry start their tour performing some rarities and bring on stage a very special guest

As Ministry continue their ongoing farewell tour, the industrial metal icons recently reached deep into their vaults to perform “Scarecrow” (from 1992’s “Psalm 69”) for the first time since 2003, as per theprp. The rare track made its live return on Tuesday, September 15, during the band’s co-headlining show with Acid Bath at Red Rocks in Morrison, CO, with fan-recorded video now available. The performance also featured a special appearance by former bassist Paul Barker, who rejoined the band onstage for “Useless” (from “Filth Pig”), a song the group and Barker live-debuted earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Ministry are gearing up for the October 30 release of their final studio album, “Hate To Go – Take Out Or Delivery”, and just released a new single from it titled “Singularity.” Interestingly, despite significant buzz around Barker’s involvement in the band’s swan song LP, official album credits list his participation on only a single track.
