Ministry release “Crickets” music video as final studio album “Hate To Go” arrives

Industrial metal pioneers Ministry have released a music video for their new single “Crickets“, coinciding with the arrival of their final studio album, “Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery)”, on October 30 via Cleopatra Records.
The video was directed by Dean Karr, who has previously worked with artists including Korn, Ozzy Osbourne and Queens Of The Stone Age. The politically charged track addresses the resurgence of fascism and urges listeners to speak out against authoritarianism.
The album marks the conclusion of a recording career spanning more than four decades for the influential industrial metal outfit, led by frontman Al Jourgensen. It follows the band’s 2024 release “HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES” and features ten tracks, including the previously released singles “Singularity“, “Burned Out” and “We Hate“.
One of the album’s notable moments is the closing track “We’re Still Here“, which features a guest appearance from former Ministry bassist and longtime collaborator Paul Barker. Barker was an integral part of the band’s classic era before departing in 2003.
Jourgensen has previously expressed his intention to bring Ministry to an end following one final album and farewell touring cycle. Reflecting on the band’s lengthy history, he has said that he is proud of what the group has accomplished and is at peace with his decision to conclude the project.
Although the release marks Ministry‘s final planned studio album, the band still has live performances ahead. Their farewell touring schedule includes a European run in spring 2027 with Die Krupps as special guests, followed by further touring plans.
“Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery)” is available in digital and physical formats, including CD, vinyl and cassette editions.
