Metallica suspected to have been hacked on X

Yesterday (June 25th) around 8PM ET suspicious tweets were popping up on Metallica’s X page. The tweets were promoting a Solana token with the ticker METAL in collaboration with Ticketmaster. The posts also claimed to collaborate with MoonPay, which is a firm for buying and selling cryptocurrencies. MoonPay already answered to this claim by saying that they are not involved in anything that was claimed.

Until now Metallica has not released any comments about the ongoing issue.
