Bay Area metal veterans Machine Head have unveiled their latest single “These Scars Won’t Define Us,” showcasing an impressive lineup of guest appearances from across the metal spectrum. The track features vocal contributions from In Flames‘ Anders Fridén, Lacuna Coil‘s Cristina Scabbia, and Unearth‘s Trevor Phipps, marking a powerful collaboration between these influential artists.
The three-minute track serves as a teaser for Machine Head‘s upcoming eleventh studio album, slated for release in 2025. The single’s timing aligns perfectly with the announcement of a major North American tour, where all four bands will share the stage in what promises to be one of 2024’s most anticipated metal packages.
The extensive tour kicks off April 5th at Oakland’s Fox Theater and will cover major cities across the United States and Canada, concluding on May 10th in Kelowna, BC. One notable exception is the Las Vegas date on April 12th at Sick New World, where In Flames and Unearth will not perform.
