Guitarist Matt Good of From First To Last is expressing disappointment after reportedly facing rejection in attempts to secure a slot at this year’s ‘When We Were Young’ festival in Las Vegas, NV. Good took to social media to share that the festival declined to book them for the upcoming edition despite direct inquiries from the band’s management.
The emo/post-hardcore group, formerly fronted by Sonny “Skrillex” Moore, last released an album in 2015. Using the platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Good, who currently serves as the band’s vocalist and guitarist, expressed his sentiments on the matter.
It’s literally insane no one has ever asked @FFTLAST to play this. I feel like I’m being gaslit lol https://t.co/6TD4vLYf0K I feel it’s important to know we asked @WWWYFest to play multiple months ago and they straight up said no and the last second added TBS. It’s all good but the lies are hilarious to me. Let’s just act like @FFTLAST never mattered I guess 😔— matt good (@mattg00d) January 18, 2024 They said it was already booked lol. Then they have continuously added bands since they said that. It’s literally a joke at this point— matt good (@mattg00d) January 18, 2024 Ok
