DragonForce announce 2027 European tour with Visions of Atlantis and Wings of Steel

DragonForce have announced a major European headline tour for spring 2027. The 22-date trek will kick off in Paris on April 9th and run through May 8th, with Visions of Atlantis and Wings of Steel joining as special guests. The tour will also include a show at Helsinki’s House of Culture on April 23rd.

The announcement follows the recent reveal of DragonForce‘s tenth studio album and first self-titled release, “DragonForce”, which will arrive on March 19th, 2027 via Napalm Records. Produced by Jens Bogren and recorded across the US, UK, Canada and Sweden, the album marks a new chapter for the power metal veterans.

The band’s current lineup features Alissa White-Gluz and Alessio Garavello on lead vocals alongside guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman, bassist Alicia Vigil, rhythm guitarist Billy Wilkins and drummer Gee Anzalone.

The upcoming European shows will feature live debuts of material from the new album, including lead single “Hunger of The Beast”. The tour will also continue DragonForce‘s celebration of their 2006 breakthrough album “Inhuman Rampage”, which turned 20 in 2026.

Guitarist Herman Li commented:

“We are so excited to be able to play both our new songs and a special Inhuman Rampage set in Europe. This is a new era for the band, and I’m so proud of the new record. I can’t wait to bring this new show to Europe!”

New vocalist Alissa White-Gluz added:

“Excitement would be an understatement – I’m thrilled to be back in my usual stomping ground and bring this exciting new concert to our European fans. See you soon!”

White-Gluz and Garavello will share vocal duties on the upcoming album and live. Garavello has been a friend and collaborator of the band for 25 years, while longtime vocalist Marc Hudson is temporarily stepping back from DragonForce due to an ongoing issue with tinnitus.

Tickets for the European tour go on general sale on September 30th at 10:00 CET, with local pre-sales beginning on September 28th at 10:00 CET.
