According to Rolling Stone a judge has ruled that Marilyn Manson must pay the majority of legal fees for his ex-fiancée, Evan Rachel Wood, in relation to the defamation lawsuit he filed against her and Ilma Gore. Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Teresa A. Beaudet ordered Manson to cover $326,956 of Wood’s legal fees but acknowledged some billed hours were vague, reducing the sum by $60,000. Manson sued Wood and Gore on the grounds that they had allegedly coaxed several women into coming forward with allegations of abuse.

Manson’s claims of conspiracy, computer hacking, and internet impersonation against Wood and Gore are still pending, with a trial set for May 01st.

Many women have levied accusations of abuse against Manson, resulting in settlements and continued legal conflicts. For instance, Jane Doe alleges Manson sexually assaulted a minor in the 1990s, and Manson‘s ex-assistant, Ashley Walters, come forward last year with claims of sexual assault.
