Marilyn Manson begins his Antichrist Superstar 30th anniversary tour – video footage and setlist available

Shock rocker Marilyn Manson inaugurated the 30th anniversary tour of his platinum-certified second studio album, “Antichrist Superstar,” on October 14th. He selected New Orleans, Louisiana, the city where the album was predominantly recorded, as the location for the tour launch. Most of the album’s songs had not been performed live since 1997, rendering the concert particularly significant for attendees. Nevertheless, Manson varied the setlist for this performance, notably excluding “Cryptorchid” and “Wormboy.” In addition to the musical selections, Manson incorporated visual elements reminiscent of his past stage productions, including the podium and stilts, evoking a sense of nostalgic homage.
