Jorge “Hoya” Guerra, bassist of US hardcore band Madball, has announced his intention to leave the band after two European tours. The bassist, who has played with the American unit since 1993, says the reason is the group’s slowed-down touring schedule, which does not allow them to play full-time.
Guerra comments that the band has “slowed down too much”, that “it’s not working out financially at the moment” and that “it’s not enough mentally.”
You can listen to the full podcast below, Guerra makes the statement that he is leaving the band around the 22 minute mark.
