New York hardcore veterans Madball have released their new single “Tethered”. The track serves as the opening song on their forthcoming tenth studio album, “Not Your Kingdom,” due July 24. “Tethered” follows earlier single “Rebel Kids,” which was released in May.
Madball tracked “Not Your Kingdom” at The Boneyard Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. Additional interludes came from Chop Shop Studios, with Jeff “Stress” Davis and Chuck Treece handling those sessions. Andrew Baylis, Aiden Thompson, and Grady Saxman produced and engineered the album, while Lee Rouse mixed and mastered it. The cover art features photography by the late Cornell Capa, courtesy of Magnum Photos and the Cornell Capa Estate.
“Not Your Kingdom” is the follow-up to 2018’s “For the Cause” and arrives via Nuclear Blast. Fans can pre-order the album on CD, vinyl, and merch bundles now.
