The vocalist-guitarist Andrés “Hades” Adasme of Chilean heavy metal band Lucifer’s Hammer has passed away at the age of 38. The sad news was first reported by local Power of Metal website. According to Power of Metal, Hades died tragically due to “third party” actions.

Andrés “Hades” Adasme and drummer Rodrigo “Titán” Adasme founded Lucifer’s Hammer in 2012. The band has released four full-length albums, with their latest “Be and Exist” coming out last June, as well as one EP.

Hades was not just a talented musician, but also a symbol of passion and dedication for all Chilean heavy metal. Andrés Adasme left a significant mark on the scene with Lucifer’s Hammer, known for their classic sound and deep connection to the genre’s core. Powerful songs, lyrics about hardships and resistance, and fully dedicated live performances are just part of the legacy that Hades leaves behind. His passing leaves a huge void in the entire national heavy metal community,” Power of Metal writes.
