Several members of the “Super Troopers” cast joined Limp Bizkit onstage on July 18, as per theprp. Members of the Broken Lizard comedy team, all dressed in character, broke into the nu metal superstars’ set to play “Break Stuff” as the show’s finale. Prior to that, the Super Troopers stormed onstage to first enforce a “noise complaint” against Bizkit, and both the band and the cast played up the pairing. But things quickly got out of control. All of that happened as Bizkit was attending Creed‘s “Summer Of ’99 And Beyond Festival,” which took place at Tinley Park, Illinois’ Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre. Bizkit‘s involvement in the aforementioned festival has a backstory all its own, even if the cast of “Super Troopers” was out promoting the imminent August 07th opening of the third film in that franchise. This booking appears to be the public sign that the band’s decades-long, fierce conflict with Creed is now over. Tom Green, a Canadian comedian, actor, and musician, joined Limp Bizkit onstage earlier this month to play “Rollin” (Air Raid Vehicle).
