Fred Durst, the leader of Limp Bizkit, has another appearance scheduled for the near future, as per theprp. Earlier this month, the nu metal icon made an appearance on MGK‘s suspected YUNGBLUD diss tune “FIX UR FACE.” He will next appear on a remix of rap rocker Lauren Sanderson‘s new single, “COME SAY SUM.” That version of the song will be released on May 6th. On October 11 and 12, Sanderson will also open for Limp Bizkit at The Truth in Nashville, Tennessee, as part of some of the first-ever performances at that brand-new venue. Sanderson‘s upcoming new album “LAUREN,” which is scheduled to be released on May 29th, will begin with the original studio version of “COME SAY SUM.”

For the time being, you can listen to the non-Durst version of the song below, along with the video that features “Lez Bizkit” and attracted Durst’s notice. The visual element of Limp Bizkit‘s 1999 smash song “Break Stuff” is referenced in that clip.

Fred Durst, the frontman of Limp Bizkit, is widely recognized as the icon of the late 1990s and early 2000s nu metal movement, yet his dedication to filmmaking persists After honing his skills directing music videos for his band and artists like Staind and Korn, Durst ventured into feature films. His directorial credits include “The Education Of Charlie Banks” with Jesse Eisenberg, “The Longshots” starring Ice Cube, and “The Fanatic,” featuring John Travolta. Recent social media activity suggests that Durst is eager to direct a new horror film, potentially inspired by Markiplier’s adaptation of the 2022 video game “Iron Lung.” Durst has expressed his desire to enter the horror genre through social media comments, even responding to Jason Blum, the founder and CEO of Blumhouse Productions, about recent horror successes.
