Knocked Loose announce 10th anniversary edition of “Laugh Tracks”

Over in Kentucky, metalcore heavyweights Knocked Loose are marking the 10th anniversary of their 2016 debut, “Laugh Tracks”, with a special collector’s vinyl edition, as per theprp. Limited to 5,000 units, the release features a holographic cover and a unique “Coke Bottle Clear/Black Tri Stripe” design with white and silver splatter. Pre-orders are live through Pure Noise Records with a scheduled November 13th ship date, alongside a fresh anniversary merch drop and a new vinyl bundle spanning their entire discography.

10 years of Laugh Tracks. We recorded this thing in a week and a half with Will Putney 10 years ago. We were young; hungry, and blown away that we had grown enough to release a full length record. Vocalist Bryan Garris, guitarist Isaac Hale, bassist Kevin Otten, and drummer Dylan Isaacs created Knocked Loosein June 2013 under the name Manipulator. With the exception of Isaacs, all of the members had previously performed with Jared Barron on drums in the band Speaker. They changed their name to Knocked Loose after receiving a call from another band called Manipulator shortly after advertising their July 26 debut performance. “Manipulator” was the band’s debut single, which came out in August 2013. The band’s following song, “The Have Nots,” was released on October 24, the same month Little Heart Records announced that they had signed Knocked Loose. October 2014 saw the re-release of both songs as 2013 demos.

“Pop Culture”, their debut EP, was published by Little Heart Records in 2014. Additionally, Knocked Loosecontributed the song “SS” to the Little Heart Records sampler “I Would Have Waited an Eternity for This”, which was part of the Warped Tour that year. The majority of the band’s early years were devoted to excessive American touring. They released a split with Damaged Goods on No Luck Records in 2015 (and digitally through Little Heart).
