Kingdom Of Sorrow, the heavy-metal collaboration between Hatebreed vocalist Jamey Jasta and Crowbar guitarist and singer Kirk Windstein, is receiving fresh vinyl editions of both of its studio albums. Relapse Records has listed new pressings of the band’s self-titled debut and its follow-up, “Behind The Blackest Tears”.
The reissues offer another way to revisit a project that paired Jasta’s hardcore-rooted delivery with Windstein’s weighty, sludge-influenced guitar work. Unlike a new studio announcement, this release concerns recordings that have already been part of the band’s catalogue for years.
“Kingdom Of Sorrow”, originally released in 2008, is offered in a sea-blue splatter vinyl variant. The second album, 2010’s “Behind The Blackest Tears”, has a royal-blue splatter option. Retail listings identify October 30, 2026 as the scheduled release date for these editions.
Relapse’s official online store currently lists both 12-inch records. Availability and prices may differ between territories, and the label has not announced new Kingdom Of Sorrow material in connection with these pressings.
Although Jasta and Windstein have remained active with their respective main bands, Kingdom Of Sorrow‘s two full-length releases have continued to interest fans of the overlap between American hardcore, groove metal and Southern sludge.
The editions are listed in the Relapse Records official store. The October 30 release date and coloured-vinyl descriptions are corroborated by the debut album’s retail listing and the corresponding second-album listing.
