John 5 responds to accusations of him using backing tracks

John 5, former guitarist of Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie, now playing for Mötley Crüe and as a solo artist, has responded to the accusations that he was miming his guitar playing at a show with Mötley Crüe. These accusations have been made on YouTube, seemingly showing him on stage not moving his hands while the song “Wild Side” is playing. In a recent Instagram post he denied using backing tracks and gave a technical explanation on what he says was happening on stage.

“Very simple. It’s not a big thing,” he concluded. “A lot of things are played with one hand. A lot of musicians know this. So, nothing to worry about, no backing tracks.”
