Experimental death metal outfit Job For A Cowboy have premiered the official music video for their track “Beyond The Chemical Doorway“. The track is part of the band’s first album in a decade, “Moon Healer”, out on February 23, 2024 via Metal Blade. The album was produced by Jason Suecof (Trivium, August Burns Red, The Black Dahlia Murder, All That Remains, Whitechapel and Devildriver) and is the band’s first release with new drummer Navene Koperweis, who previously worked with Fleshwrought, of vocalist Jonny Davy.
Davy explains the band’s hiatus:
I had to take a step back in the band for family. It was the catalyst that eventually created a fork in the road for all of us. We all drifted into our separate paths. Fatherhood, additional music projects, academic degrees, and careers outside the band took priority and life’s focus.
He added about their return:
Everything lined up for us to collaborate on a new project together, it was time to cross the threshold for something new.
