A fresh set of alarming accusations against Jared Leto stems from alleged instances that allegedly occurred over the course of the last 20 years or more. According to a recent Air Mail exposé, nine women have accused 53-year-old Leto, the frontman of the platinum-certified band 30 Seconds To Mars, of sexual assault, grooming, sexual misconduct, and other offences. Even more concerning is the fact that several of his victims assert that they were intentionally as young as 16 at the time of their purported contacts with Leto. DJ Allie Teilz, one of the women, reiterated her claim that Leto tried to “force himself” on her backstage during a performance when she was just 17. That accusation was initially made public by her in 2012. Another lady, claiming to have been 16 at the time, said that she had a chance contact with Leto that led to his having explicit sexual chats with her. Leto’s aides have released a statement “expressly” disputing the different accusations made in the article from Air Mail. They have also denied any assertions that Leto had been using drugs or alcohol.
