Cory Brandan, the vocalist and guitarist for Norma Jean, appears to have made an appearance on P.O.D.‘s next song, as per theprp. The multi-platinum Christian rap rock group recently posted a photo of themselves and Brandan on the set of a video shoot. That was directed by JT Ibanez (Atreyu, Sevendust), who has previously collaborated with P.O.D.. The band is preparing for the release of their twelfth studio album. Producer Will Yip (Turnstile, Circa Survive) conducted the recording sessions for that last spring.

Founded in 1992, P.O.D. is headquartered in San Diego, California. Paul Joshua “Sonny” Sandoval, lead guitarist Marcos Curiel, bassist Mark “Traa” Daniels, and drummer Noah “Wuv” Bernardo make up the band’s lineup. Over 12 million records have been sold by them globally. Throughout their history, the band has toured abroad, been nominated for three Grammy Awards, and contributed to multiple movie soundtracks. Their first mainstream success came with their third studio album, The Fundamental Elements of Southtown, which the RIAA certified platinum in 2000. The band’s success was sustained by the singles “Alive” and “Youth of the Nation” from their subsequent studio album, “Satellite”, which went triple platinum.
