Inhaler have today (January 17th) given another taste of their forthcoming new album with the release of the powerful new single ‘A Question Of You‘. It’s the third track to be taken from the Dublin quartet’s brilliant third album ‘Open Wide’, which will be released on February 7th via Polydor Records. It follows recent singles ‘Your House‘ and ‘Open Wide‘ and is further evidence of the band finding themselves and taking their sound in bold new directions. Listen to the song HERE.
It’s a love song to me about being honest with yourself if you want to be honest with someone, like, ‘I need to get my own shit in order so I can be with other people’. It’s also a soulmate thing. The chorus really changed everything on that song. Elijah Hewson
Recorded at RAK Studios in London and produced by Grammy and Brit Award winner Kid Harpoon, the new album “Open Wide” underpins Inhaler‘s status as the ultimate modern guitar band, for whom jubilant pop melodies, intricate grooves and rock’n’roll dynamics are not foreign words, but kindred spirits. The album’s 13 songs refine the infectious, euphoric singalongs of the first two albums “It Won’t Always Be Like This” and “Cuts & Bruises” into something complete, an album you can lose yourself in and where every track feels like it could be a big single. Sonically, it’s an album where the band’s fondness for T.Rex, early MGMT, Prince, Depeche Mode and others nestles alongside the indie and garage rock influences of their youth and is a majestic celebration of who Inhaler are and all they’ve done to get to this point. The album’s release next month coincides with the band’s biggest tour of the UK and Ireland to date, which includes two headline shows at the legendary Brixton Academy and a 20,000 capacity show in Dublin in May.

Since launching their career in 2018, Inhaler have been one of the biggest new names in guitar music and have achieved commercial success with storming chart positions. To date, they have sold over a quarter of a million records worldwide and achieved 500 million streams. Their debut album “It Won’t Always Be Like This” reached #1 in the UK and Ireland, while their follow-up “Cuts & Bruises” 2023 topped the Irish charts and reached #2 in the UK.
