New York-based avant-garde metal band Imperial Triumphant will release their new “Goldstar” album on March 21, 2025, and have released a new single “Lexington Delirium” featuring a guest appearance by Meshuggah drummer Thomas Haake. You can listen to the track below.

Although the band has expanded their style with improvisation and visual obscurity on their previous albums, “Goldstar” stands out as a defining moment for the band. Alongside Haake, the album features guest appearances by legendary drummer Dave Lombardo and vocalist Yoshiko Ohara.

From the album’s opening track “Eye of Mars”, through “Hotel Sphinx” to the death metal-inspired “Rot Moderne”, “Goldstar” reflects the band’s experience of touring with bands such as Behemoth, Carcass and Zeal & Ardor.

“Goldstar” will be released in a variety of formats, including gatefold vinyl, CD digipak and digital album.
