Ignea unveil “Harmony Manufactured” single and video featuring Hiraes vocalist Britta Görtz

Ukrainian modern metal band Ignea have released their new single “Harmony Manufactured”, featuring guest vocals from Hiraes singer Britta Görtz, alongside an official music video. The song appears on their upcoming album “Monumental”, due October 23, 2026 via Napalm Records.

The fast, heavy track pairs Görtz’s extreme vocals with those of Ignea frontwoman Helle Bohdanova. Inspired by Bauhaus buildings and industrial design, the song develops the architectural imagery and themes of nostalgia that run through the new album.

Bohdanova explains the song’s concept:

“The song ‘Harmony Manufactured’ is a tribute to industrial design, the Bauhaus school, and the birth of technical aesthetics, celebrating objects in which function and beauty coexist perfectly. The Bauhaus believed in the unity of art, craft, and technology, and that well-made things shouldn’t be a privilege but part of everyday life.”

“In the video, though, it is the human body that is treated as the peak of design. After all, it is humans who carry the most beauty and enduring memory. We’re extremely grateful to have Britta as a guest on ‘Harmony Manufactured’. Her voice is the technical aesthetics of extreme vocals, and she has elevated this song enormously. I hope we’ll be able to perform it live together someday.”

Görtz says the collaboration felt natural because of her mutual respect with Bohdanova. She praised Ignea’s creative vision and the way the band explores nostalgia and Bauhaus themes, adding that Bohdanova travelling from Ukraine to her hometown of Hannover for the video shoot made the experience especially meaningful.

“Monumental” is the second Ignea full-length written during Russia’s full-scale war in Ukraine. Much of the recording took place in Kyiv during the winter of 2025–2026, amid freezing temperatures and lengthy power outages. Across nine tracks, the album explores personal and collective memory, modernist architecture and visions of futures that never materialised. Jacob Hansen handled mixing and mastering.

The band will support Evergrey on their European tour with Stellar Circuits, starting in Lund, Sweden on November 11 and continuing into December. Ignea previously shared the Combichrist collaboration “Prefab” from the same record.
