For over three and a half decades Overkill‘s bottom line crazy method of thrash has produced some of the most significant moments in the world of metal. Now in the latter half of their career, the New Jersey thrash metal veterans show all their experience with “Scorched” sounding more mature, refined, and embellished with hints of more than just thrash metal. The brand new album “Scorched” was released on April 14th via Nuclear Blast Records.
Overkill‘s 2023 incarnation will shift the spotlight to decidedly bespoke experiences for thrash metal fans. Louder? Yes. Faster? Maybe. But, everything is surrounded by a sense of elevation, uniqueness, and distinctive personality. Ten ton heavy metal with a perfect blend.
