Washington black metal project Hulder have released a new single “In Blood and in Earth”. The song follows earlier single “View From Nemeton” that the band shared in June. The band also signed with Season of Mist that same month.
The new single is from Hulder’s upcoming third full length album, “Verbolgen,” due out August 7. Season of Mist handles the release worldwide outside North America, while 20 Buck Spin covers North American territories.
“Verbolgen” spans nine tracks and marks a shift in Hulder’s structure. Long time session member Necreon now joins as a full creative partner alongside founder Marliese Osborne. The album also features contributions from Keld on hurdy gurdy and additional guitars, plus drums shared by Vapula and Vrolok.
Hulder previously released “Godslastering: Hymns of a Forlorn Peasantry” in 2021 and “Verses in Oath” in 2024. The band will support “Verbolgen” with touring later this year, including North American dates alongside Dimmu Borgir, Hypocrisy and Suffocation.
