Hollywood Vampires perform with a special guest during their show in London

On Wednesday night, August 12, Hollywood Vampires began their first tour in almost three years at London’s O2 Arena, as per Blabbermouth. Hollywood Vampires, named after a group of well-known musicians that iconic singer Alice Cooper used to drink with in the early 1970s, including John Lennon and Keith Moon, are made up of Cooper, producer and songwriter Tommy Henriksen, actor Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry of Aerosmith. In addition to covers of The Who’s “Baba O’Riley,” AC/DC’s “Highway To Hell,” and The Velvet Underground’s “Venus In Furs,” Hollywood Vampires’ 23-song set in London featured Cooper‘s “School’s Out” and Aerosmith’s “Livin’ On The Edge.”

Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones joined Hollywood Vampires on stage at the end of the evening for performances of The Stones’ “Brown Sugar” and the blues staple “Train Kept A-Rollin’,” which Aerosmith performed on its 1974 album “Get Your Wings.” Alice Cooper introduced Wood by saying: “We now bring out the most deadly British vampire“.

The band also have announced ‘At Montreux Jazz Festival’, an incredible live album documenting their legendary 2018 performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival, featuring several previously unreleased covers, including a stunning rendition of Motörhead’s ‘Ace of Spades’ in tribute to Lemmy.
