Harm’s Way returned to the stage – video footage and setlist available
Harm’s Way performed live for the first time this past weekend since guitarist Bo Lueders passed away, as per theprp. This past Friday, August 28, the industrialised metalcore band performed at the Casa Cafe in Chicago, Illinois, with a slight roster change. Nick Gauthier and bassist Casey Soyk switched to guitars, and Drew Brown of Weekend Nachos was brought in on bass. Chris Mills, the drummer, and James Pligge, the vocalist, stayed on. You may watch fan-shot video of that small warm-up performance below. Yesterday, the ensemble held an official memorial show to Lueders at the Ramova Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. There were a lot of guest musicians and appearances during that performance.

That performance featured the Young brothers (Twitching Tongues), former Nails guitarist Andy Saba, former Harm’s Way guitarist Jay Jancetic, and Anthony DiDio of Vein.fm/Fleshwater.
A “side project-slash-joke” band was formed in 2006 by the members of a straight-edge punk band called Few And The Proud in order to have fun performing quick powerviolence songs that were influenced by Infest and Crossed Out. Early on, Organised Crime Records and Closed Casket Activities issued a number of LPs, EPs, and singles by Harm’s Way. Hearing that Jacob Bannon (Converge) enjoyed the band’s sound, Harm’s Way sent an email to his label Deathwish Inc. following the release of their 2011 second studio album, “Isolation”, asking if the company would be interested in signing them. In March 2013, it was revealed that the band had signed with Deathwish. On July 23, 2013, Harm’s Way issued the EP “Blinded”, which included artwork by Florian Bertmer.
