This August, Harm’s Way will take the stage again for a memorial performance honouring their late guitarist Bo Lueders, as per theprp. Twitching Tongues, Linda Claire, Weekend Nachos, and The Killer will all perform at this celebration of his life. The Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois, will host it. Tickets will go on sale at 10:00 a.m. CST tomorrow, July 31. Lueders, who co-hosted the “HardLore” podcast with Colin Young of Twitching Tongues, died in April of this year.

Few and the Proud, a straight-edge punk band, formed a “side project-slash-joke” band in 2006 to have fun performing quick powerviolence songs influenced by Infest and Crossed Out. Early on, Organized Crime Records and Closed Casket Activities issued a number of albums, EPs, and singles by Harm’s Way. Hearing that Jacob Bannon (Converge) enjoyed the band’s sound, Harm’s Way sent an email to his label Deathwish Inc. following the release of their 2011 second studio album, “Isolation”, asking if the company would be interested in signing them. In March 2013, it was revealed that the band had signed with Deathwish. On July 23, 2013, Harm’s Way issued the EP “Blinded”, which included artwork by Florian Bertmer.
The band also added more Godflesh-inspired industrial metal to their style with the Blinded EP. On March 10, 2015, Harm’s Way released “Rust”, their third studio album, through Deathwish. The album was advertised with a music video for the song “Amongst the Rust.“
