Guitarist Christopher Amott exits Dark Tranquillity

Guitarist Christopher Amott of Swedish melodic death metal veterans Dark Tranquillity has announced his departure from the band. Amott joined the group in 2017 as a live musician, and also played on the band’s latest album “Moment“.

Amott says that there is no conflict behind the departure, he just wants to focus on creating new music.

Apart from Dark Tranquillity, Amott is also known as a founding member of Arch Enemy and plays in Armageddon.
