A new live album, recorded during the band’s historic 33rd anniversary tour in March 2025, is definitely in the works, according to legendary Norwegian black metal band Gorgoroth. The recordings, which were produced during the tour in association with Massive Music, are intended to capture the unadulterated, unvarnished ambiance of Gorgoroth‘s renowned live performances. At the moment, founding guitarist Infernus is leading the mixing process at Crosound Studio with Øystein G. Brun (who has worked with Borknagar), making sure the production adheres to the band’s dark and violent sonic heritage. We’ll soon provide more information, such as the tracklist, cover art, and release date.
