Gene Simmons has revealed plans for a performance with his solo band, marking his first show since Kiss concluded its final concert.

The Gene Simmons Band is set to hit the stage on Friday, April 26 at the Summer Breeze festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Joining Simmons are guitarists Brent Woods (known for his work with Sebastian Bach and Vince Neil) and Zach Throne (associated with Corey Taylor), along with drummer Brian Tichy (recognized for his contributions to Whitesnake, Billy Idol, and Foreigner).

This marks Simmons’ return to touring with his solo band after their last venture in 2018, where he assembled a different lineup of musicians for shows in the U.S., Europe, and Australia.

During previous tours with his solo band, Simmons showcased a diverse setlist, performing various Kiss tracks alongside covers of rock legends such as the Beatles, Little Richard, and Chuck Berry. The bassist also revisited some songs from his 1978 solo album.
