Full Metal Mayrhofen 2027 – six new bands confirmed!

After two successful editions, Full Metal Mayrhofen has established itself as an extraordinary meeting point for the international metal community in the Zillertal. Thousands of fans from Austria and abroad travelled to Mayrhofen to combine top-class live music with winter sports and an Alpine lifestyle. Against the breathtaking backdrop of the Tyrolean Alps, powerful guitar riffs, an exuberant festival atmosphere and the region’s unique charm come together to create an experience that extends far beyond the concert stages.

From March 29 to April 3, 2027, Full Metal Mayrhofen returns to bring the metal scene back to the mountains. The upcoming edition will once again offer visitors a diverse combination of international bands, winter activities and après-ski. With six more bands confirmed, the line-up continues to take shape, promising musical diversity ranging from ferocious metalcore and symphonic soundscapes to uncompromising extreme metal. The latest additions are:

Callejon bring more than two decades of metalcore experience to Mayrhofen. Led by BastiBasti, the band combines dark soundscapes, crushing riffs and infectious choruses to deliver an electrifying live show.

Visions Of Atlantis sail with symphonic metal and maritime flair to the Zillertal valley. Opulent arrangements, impressive duets and anthemic choruses meet the imposing mountain scenery of the Tyrolean Alps.

Legion Of The Damned deliver uncompromising heaviness. The Dutch extreme metal veterans are known for razor-sharp guitar riffs, aggressive rhythms and a powerful sound.

Nanowar Of Steel combine musical prowess with a generous dose of humour. The Italian metal parodists poke fun at the genre’s clichés and guarantee top-notch entertainment.

Kupfergold bring a piece of the Rhineland to Tyrol. Frontwoman Bonnie and her band deliver their self-proclaimed “Assi-Folk”, cheeky humour and a whole host of catchy songs.

With Sagenbringer, ancient myths meet raw guitars and intricate melodies. Their atmospheric folk metal promises a special live experience against the backdrop of the Tyrolean mountains.

Also joining the mountain party: folk metal heroes Feuerschwanz and heavy metal legends U.D.O., the New Jersey crossover outfit Dog Eat Dog, as well as Italian symphonic power metal band Rhapsody Of Fire. Grave Digger, Annisokay, Mittel Alta and Dying Eden have also been confirmed.
