Guitarist DJ Ashba played with the legendary Guns N’ Roses from 2009-2015. In a recent interview with Audio Ink Radio, Ashba reveals that he didn’t have much to do with Axl Rose, but that he missed him.

When asked if he has been in touch with Rose, he answers:

“Not too much, but the minute we see each other, I’m sure there’s gonna be big hugs thrown. We have so much respect for each other, I believe. I miss him. I miss him to death as my buddy. But they’ve been on tour. They’ve been nonstop busy, and I’ve been slammed busy, and that’s kind of how this industry is. Your paths will cross one day, and it’s just how it is. It’s like a traveling circus.”

In 2016, Ashba said in an interview that leaving Guns N’ Roses was the hardest decision of his life.

Guns N’ Roses ended their tour a short while ago, which was said to have had heavy restrictions due to pandemic.
