Metallica partners with Red Cross for a new blood donation experience

Metallica is humbled to announce the band’s fifth blood donation campaign in partnership with the American Red Cross and their foundation, All Within My Hands (AWMH). This continued collaboration is made possible by the generosity and compassion of the Metallica Family, who have contributed more than 90,000 units of blood over the past year and a half!

Beginning September 28, fans can give blood at the Red Cross x Metallica Blood Donation Experience, sponsored by Delta Air Lines, at Fashion Show Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip. The experience will be open through March 19, 2027, allowing fans an opportunity to donate blood during the Life Burns Faster run in Vegas.

The donation center will be a ’Tallica-themed pop-up, loaded with Metallica art and memorabilia, with the sounds of SiriusXM’s Maximum Metallica filling the air. Donors will also have the chance to enjoy refreshments post-donation at the Delta Backstage Lounge, courtesy of Delta Air Lines.

Everyone who comes to donate will receive a limited-edition T-shirt designed by Squindo, while supplies last, and will be automatically entered for a chance to win the on-site drum kit! Full terms and conditions can be found at RedCrossBlood.org/Metallica.
