A decade and a half ago, former Swordmaster, Dissection and Ophthalamia drummer Ole Öhman alias Bone W. Machine left Deathstars due to tennis elbow. Now, he is back with a new band called RÖK [Swedish for: Smoke]. Alongside Andreas Stenfeldt (vocals), Olof Eimir (guitar), Matte Eliasson (guitar) and Marcus Högberg (bass), Ole Öhman has already played the first RÖK show, a completely sold-out concert held on 30 January 2026 in the Swedish city of Gothenburg. The Swedish heavy metal band, which was founded in 2025 in Strömstad, explores “themes of demons and mythology through traditional metal structures infused with modern intensity”. After RÖK sold out all 15 handmade, numbered copies of their demo at their debut gig, the release featuring the songs “Don’t Feed The Daemon” and “Bringer Of War” can now be ordered on CD and vinyl here. Both formats are strictly limited to 50 copies each:
“Due to high demand, we have made arrangements so you will be able to order the demo on 12″vinyl or as a CD. BUT!!! Limited to 50 ex of each! And they are already selling fast.…”
