Photographer and Young Dubliners drummer (Ex-Bruce Dickinson solo / Tribe of Gypsies) David Ingraham has released his first solo record, “As Eternity Is To Time”, a compelling collection of ambient electronic pieces with elements of orchestral rock. Watch and listen to the just released official visualizer of “Nebula” on YouTube:

After decades of playing everything from Latin rock (Tribe of Gypsies), heavy metal (Bruce Dickinson), and Irish rock (Young Dubliners), David found himself tiring of the limitations and clichés of mainstream music, drifting more deeply into ambient electronic music. David Ingraham comments:

“During covid lockdown, along with every other working musician, I found myself unemployed, sitting at home, wondering ‘what now?’ So, with the band in limbo and more free time on my hands than I knew what to do with, I came to the realization that, after decades of playing drums on mostly other peoples’ music, I was ready to make my own.

“This meant not only focusing on a style and sound that was more reflective of my own personal tastes, but also composing, arranging, orchestrating, recording, producing, and mixing everything myself–complete creative control.”

Almost four years in the making, David has finally completed his first solo offering “As Eternity Is To Time”, an eclectic and dynamic blend of sonic colors, textures and atmospheres – the first of what he hopes to be many more projects to come. You can stream the entire album below:
