Switzerland-based indie rock outfit Fomies has unveiled their new single “Confusion“. The track is taken from the group’s upcoming album “Ominous Prominence”. Watch the official music video below.
The Vevey-born rockers are back with their second single off their fifth album: “Confusion“, a song that is an unabashed celebration of the pop sounds of the seventies.
With drums grooving in a Chic-style rhythm and a synthesizer that playfully encourages us to nod our heads in time, it’s a nostalgic trip down memory lane. The show’s star, though, is a melodic and wicked guitar solo bound to awaken your inner air guitarist.
Currently, Fomies is in preparation for the release of their fifth studio album “Ominous Prominence”, which will be released in late November 2023 on the renowned Zurich record label Taxi Gauche Records (Annie Taylor, Sam Himself, Adult Books, Chloe Gallardo, etc.).
The LP was recorded at Ritmo Studio in Leysin with Benoit «Gerard» Erard (L’éclair) in November 2022. Concurrently, Fomies continue to make their presence felt on stages in Switzerland and France. Noteworthy performances include appearances at Dachstock (Bern), Paléo Festival (Nyon), Buskers Festival (Lugano), Badenfahrt (Baden) or Paris.
