Finland’s Ankea Festival announces first artists for 2027 – Igorrr and Alcest headlining

Ankea Festival – Finland’s new gathering for prog metal and post-rock lovers – announces its first artists for 2027. A limited number of early bird tickets are now on sale. Ankea Festival 2027 will take place in Hiedanranta, a former-factory-turned-street-art-park in Tampere, Finland, on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th June 2027.

Ankea Festival 2027 will be headlined by French metal oddity Igorrr, delivering a full-length set of perfect chaos in the Finnish midsummer night. Ankea will also welcome French post black metalers Alcest, melancholic Scandinavian folk group Kalandra, Germany’s most talked-about black metal export Der Weg Einer Freiheit, Swedish rising prog metal stars Vulkan and Karmanjakah. Last but not least are post-rock ensemble Long Distance Calling, celebrating their 20th anniversary and a first-ever visit to Finland.
