Feuerschwanz announce new studio album “Knightclub” out July 25, 2025

Top charting modern folk metal leaders Feuerschwanz are set to release their twelfth studio album, “Knightclub”, on July 25, 2025 via Napalm Records. With its title track, released this past Friday alongside an electrifying music video, the German #1 charting band has been selected for the German preliminary finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel, “Chefsache ESC 2025 – Wer singt für Deutschland”, following a spectacular semi-final on Saturday. Feuerschwanz stood out from over 3,000 applicants, impressing an expert panel that included German TV legend Stefan Raab, and captivating more than 2 million viewers who tuned in to follow the thrilling competition. The grand finale will take place on March 1 at 8:15 PM CET, broadcast live on the German ARD television channel. Stefan Raab and his jury will select five acts for the very final round. From there, it will be up to the audience to determine who will represent Germany in Basel on May 17, 2025. Voting will take place via televoting, online voting (esc.vote), or SMS – fans from abroad can vote as well.

On their new full-length, “Knightclub”, Feuerschwanz continue on the momentous path they’ve forged with their most recent albums, cementing their status as the hottest band in Germany. The title track, “Knightclub”, is an anthem that has already energized millions during its appearance in the Eurovision Song Contest preliminary round, and is sure to turn every metal event into a massive party. On the album version, the band is supported on vocals by Dag-Alexis Kopplin of SDP. Songs like “Valhalla” and “Avalon”, on the other hand, are epic anthems and showcase the band’s more serious side. “Valhalla” also features legendary guest appearances by Doro Pesch and Miracle of Sound. “The Tale of Sam the Brave” transports listeners to Middle-Earth, while “Name der Rose” celebrates another literary classic. The previously released “Lords Of Fyre” feat. Lord of the Lost is a harbinger of the bands’ upcoming co-headline tour, and their cover of “Gangnam Style” adds yet another unmissable party hit to the mix.

“Knightclub” was produced by Simon Michael (Subway To Sally) and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Arch Enemy, Volbeat, Evergrey). The cover artwork was created by Peter Sallai (Powerwolf, Sabaton, Saxon, Hammerfall).
