“Extreme vocals needs a lot of practice” – Ignea’s Helle Bohdanova reveals her story as a metal vocalist 

Ukrainian band Ignea is not only one of the finest examples of how to combine symphonic and melodic death metal with folk motives at a first-class level, but also an example of a simple human bravery and power of will, ’cause these guys managed to record an outstanding concept album “Dreams of Lands Unseen” during their country being at war.

Ignea toured Europe in the end of 2023 with Fear Factory and Butcher Babies and Chaoszine sat down with the band’s vocalist Helle Bohdanova before the band’s show at Olympia-kortteli in Tampere, Finland on December 14th and discussed about her story as a metal vocalist from the very beginning until present.
