Discover the ingenious way that Necrotted used to replace their drummer

During their August 22nd performance at the “Fallen Fortress Open Air” festival in Bad Dürkheim, Germany, German death metal/deathcore band Necrotted made the most of a difficult circumstance, as per theprp. The band played live to the backing tapes of its drummer, Markus Braun, who was ill. Necrotted chose to liven things up, even if that in and of itself is a very regular event for bands who find themselves in that scenario these days. During the performance, they went above and beyond by allowing a variety of spectators to air drum the songs. Below is fan-shot video of that, which the band has since reshared.

The band from Abtsgmühl (Baden-Wuerttemberg), which was founded in 2008, continues to energise the scene and persuade both the music press and its expanding fan base. The band’s history includes not only the three full-length albums “Anchors Apart” (2012), “Utopia 2.0” (2014), and “Worldwide Warfare” (2017), as well as the two EPs “Kingdom Of Hades” (2010) and “Die For Something Worthwhile” (2019). Necrotted has also performed live in hundreds of different countries, showcasing their unadulter on various stages.

The quintet’s violent blend consists of gritty, stomping slam parts, blaring blast beats, and sweeping, melodic guitar melodies. Deep, high-pitched guttural vocals complete the musical sound, highlighting the songs’ memorable refrains and lyrical points. Following this tendency, the band’s latest album “Operation: Mental Castration” continuously improves their sound. Additionally, the record once again develops a complex poetic idea that is typical of Necrotted.
