Dave Mustaine’s Cameo video features David Ellefson’s replacement

After Megadeth’s bassist David Ellefson was fired from the band following allegations against him, Dave Mustaine announced that Ellefson’s bass lines would be replaced on the band’s upcoming album. In a recent video on Cameo, Mustaine revealed that the bass tracks have already been re-recorded.

Now again, important information has been obtained from Cameo. In the new video, Dave Mustaine is filming in studio conditions, and the video also shows the band’s new mystery bassist on the floor, working out.

The bassist’s instrument is also shown in the video – a 5-string Ibanez bass. In the video uploaded to Reddit, the bass logo is mistaken for the Black Veil Brides logo, but it’s actually the logo used by Ibanez on their BTB series basses.
