In a recent interview with Loudwire, Dave Mustaine, vocalist/guitarist for thrash metal legends Megadeth, was asked which of his band’s soon to be sixteen full-length albums ranked highest in his own heart. In a bid to avoid the cliché of an artist’s newest album being their favorite, he removed the group’s forthcoming album “The Sick, The Dying… And The Dead!” (tentatively due out July 08th) from the running.
Even with that omission he still couldn’t decide on just one record however, eventually opting for a tie. The two choices he settled on included the band’s platinum-certified 1990 album “Rust In Peace” and their GRAMMY award-winning 2016 album, “Dystopia“.
