Fresh off a headline European tour and a string of festival headline shows in support of their new album “I Never Said 4Ever” out now via Ranka Kustannus, the band will be bringing their electric live performances to the UK for the very first time.
A truly dazzling collection of glimpses into the personal love stories and heartbreak of singer-songwriter and mastermind Susanna Alexandra, poetically told through modern forward-thinking lyrics, bursting bright catchy hooks, soaring pop vocals, thunderous beats to dance to and – most importantly – a beating heart at the very centre of it all serving as Cyan Kicks driving force.
The dynamic foursome are best known for making unconventional, alluring modern pop-rock hits that are synergetic, introspective and forward-thinking. Starting 2022 off with the bombastic empowerment anthem “Hurricane” – an official entrant for Finland’s 2022 Eurovision Song Contest co-written with Amaranthe‘s Elize Ryd – is the perfect case in point. Death Cab for Cutie’s Chris Walla was at the controls, and the mix was overseen by Zakk Cervini (Bring Me The Horizon, Poppy, Architects, Beartooth).
Gatecrashing their way straight into the hearts of many with subsequent arena tours across Europe, and follow-up singles energetic “See The Light“, the poignant “Someone Like You” which earned a shadow-ban online due to its controversial and groundbreaking music video, anti-Valentines Day self-empowerment anthem “Into You” and booming earworm “Addicted”, it’s been a monumental year for the young stars and, currently back out on the road and hitting the festival trail, they show zero signs of slowing down.
