Two of New Orleans’ legendary sludge-metal heavyweights, Crowbar and Eyehategod, are set to storm through the U.S. this August on a fierce co-headlining tour. Kicking off August 8th at the Brass Mug in Tampa, FL, and wrapping up August 30th at Southport Hall in their hometown of New Orleans, the 23-date trek sees both bands trading headline duties night by night. Tickets are on sale now.
The run includes a variety of intimate venues and fan-favorite spots across the East Coast, Midwest, and South, with a standout show aboard the Rocks Off Concert Cruise in New York City. It’s a rare double dose of punishing riffs and raw energy, featuring two of the most iconic names in sludge metal sharing the spotlight once again.
This marks the first time the two bands have toured the U.S. together since 1998, making the announcement even more exciting for longtime fans. Crowbar continues to ride the momentum of their 2022 album “Zero And Below,” hailed as one of their heaviest and most emotional efforts to date. Meanwhile, Eyehategod is in the early stages of writing new material, following their 2021 release “A History of Nomadic Behavior.”
Expect thick, grooving guitars, guttural vocals, and a no-compromise night of doom-driven heaviness as these Southern sludge pioneers team up for one of the loudest tours of the summer.
