Cory Marks presents a new, intimate version of “Sorry For Nothing”, the title track of his latest album, which was released in December 2024 via BETTER NOISE MUSIC. The new acoustic version, available now on all digital platforms, is a soulful performance and highlights Cory‘s distinctive voice, giving the energetic anthem a powerful and raw new energy.
Cory Marks has performed at many major country and rock festivals across North America and has brought his energetic performance to a wide audience on joint tours with artists ranging from Theory Of A Deadman, Halestorm, ZZ Top and Five Finger Death Punch to Toby Keith, Travis Tritt and Brantley Gilbert. In March, he will be touring the UK and Europe as a headliner for the first time (March 7-18), as well as performing at the Country 2 Country Festival in London, Berlin and Rotterdam. He will then support Dorothy on her US tour in April and play a headline tour in his home country of Canada in May. Tickets are available now.
Cory Marks knows how to captivate an audience. “Outlaws & Outsiders” feat. Ivan Moody, Mick Mars and Travis Tritt helped him break through in 2019. The song reached the top 10 on US rock radio and went gold in the US and platinum in Canada, cementing his place within the genre. He’s now on track to make an even bigger impact, inviting listeners to join him on a journey that’s as heartfelt as it is electrifying.
With over 320 million global streams to date, Cory has captivated fans in both the country and rock camps. His new album, “Sorry For Nothing,” is unafraid to stand out from the crowd and stay true to himself. It’s a spicy mix of 13 songs produced by his longtime collaborator Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, Shania Twain, Papa Roach) as well as Kile Odell (Nita Strauss, David Draiman) and Andrew Baylis (Jelly Roll, Brantley Gilbert). The album is the follow-up to Cory‘s successful debut “Who I Am”, which included the hit single “Outlaws & Outsiders”. ”
“Sorry For Nothing” ranges from Merle Haggard-esque country and virtual bluegrass to straightforward arena anthems and hard-hitting riffs. Guest appearances include Sully Erna from Godsmack, Travis Tritt and Mick Mars on the single “(Make My) Country Rock”, which made it into the Top10 of the Rock Radio Charts in Germany. Also included is the current radio single “Guilty” – a feature together with Bad Wolves singer DL. “Sorry For Nothing” is available digitally, on exclusive red vinyl, on CD and as an exclusive bundle.
