Calm down, there’s a fire! Evanescence’s stage curtain goes into flames during their show in Florida

About nine songs into Evanescence’s concert last night, June 12, at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida, a curtain on the side of the stage caught fire, as per theprp. Ironically, the unplanned ignition happened as the alternative metal band was performing “Calm Down.” Without the band breaking a beat, a stagehand quickly put out the resultant flames after an unintentional pyro incident. Nonetheless, others have voiced concerns about the purportedly unusual techniques employed to extinguish the fire. You can view fan-shot video of the accident below.
