Brittany Furlan Lee saves her dog from a coyote – video footage available

Brittany Furlan Lee, a comedian, podcaster, and wife of Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, is becoming well-known for rescuing their dog from a coyote assault near their Los Angeles home’s pool. Furlan posted a video of a coyote picking up the couple’s dachshund, Neena, from a Ring security camera. Before Lee can even leave the house to investigate, Furlan is able to save Neena by running screaming after the coyote. Fortunately, the dog appears to be doing well right now. She wrote this in her Instagram story:

I AM TRAUMATIZED FROM THE EXPERIENCE YESTERDAY but am grateful to have my girl still. Many people have told me they have not been so lucky. I am shocked to hear they are pulling dogs off of their leashes, and packs of them are even killing larger dogs. It seems nothing is safe. I fear for small children, as they don’t seem scared of us. I hope [Gavin Newsom] can propose a plan to trap and relocate them away from suburbia.
