”Both The Halo Effect and Dark Tranquillity will release their new albums next year” – Exclusive interview with Mikael Stanne

Swedish melodic death metal outfit The Halo Effect played their only Finnish show this summer at John Smith Rock Festival on July 20th. The band which consists of former members of In Flames recently finished the studio sessions for their upcoming second album which will be released sometime in 2024 through Nuclear Blast Records. 

Chaoszine sat down with the band’s vocalist Mikael Stanne before the band’s show at John Smith Rock Festival and discussed a little bit about the upcoming The Halo Effect album as well as what kind of plans Stanne’s other band Dark Tranquillity has for their next album coming also in 2024.
