Billboard sources confirm that Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante will be part of the Pantera reunion
We published a report in which we told you that US metal legends Pantera will return to the stage next year with singer Phil Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown.
Rumours began to circulate in the music world that Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society and Ozzy Osbourne fame would take over as guitarist for the return concerts, and that Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante would provide the drumming duties.
Now Billboard sources confirm that Wylde and Benante will indeed be seen on Pantera’s return tour. According to Billboard sources, the estate of Vincent “Vinnie Paul” Abbott and “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott have given the green light to Wylde and Benante’s involvement.
