Bad Religion and Social Distortion team up for 2024 US tour
Southern California punk outfits Bad Religion and Social Distortion have announced a co-headlining US tour for spring 2024. Support will come from The Lovebombs.
The trek begins April 9 in Bakersfield, California and concludes May 19 in Columbus, Ohio. Grab your tickets through BadReligion.com and SocialDistortion.com.
The groups previously performed together for a string of dates in Australia earlier this year. “I loved Social Distortion as a kid and I love them even more now,” says Bad Religion guitarist Brian Baker. “I am thrilled and honoured to be sharing the stages with them this fall. This is one for the history books, folks”, bassist Jay Bentley adds. “The fact that we’re both still making music and touring the world is a testament to the staying power of SoCal punk rock“, he concludes.
The 2024 shows will see Social Distortion perform their 1983 debut album “Mommy’s Little Monster” in its entirety as a belated 40th anniversary celebration. Vocalist Mike Ness says: “This should be a very special tour and we are all looking forward to it”.
